For municipalities
Creating value for communities
In the past, municipalities approved solar parks mostly out of conviction for climate protection, but today there are also very lucrative incentives for this. Not only does 90 percent of the trade tax revenue flow directly to the local community, but it can also participate directly in the solar park's income through community participation - without any investment or compensation. The lavish lease payments will also increase the property owners' income taxes, which will ultimately also go to the community. There is also the option of leasing community-owned land in the best possible way. Numerous communities have already been able to completely renovate themselves financially with the help of renewable energies or create added value and incentive for their population.
How do communities benefit from a solar park in their area?
Community participation
PhotoVolta guarantees all partner communities a share of the local solar park's income of 0.2 cents per kilowatt hour generated. In this way, we are making full use of our potential to give the local communities something in return for their trust. From the first year of operation, the municipalities receive a secure annual payment with which they can plan long-term and independently of the intended use.
Public relations/image
The photovoltaic system helps protect the environment and combat climate change by generating clean, renewable energy from sunlight. This reduces dependence on fossil fuels and reduces CO2 emissions. This positive contribution to environmental protection and the fight against climate change strengthens the image of a municipality as an environmentally conscious and future-oriented municipality and can have a positive impact on relationships with citizens, companies and potential investors.
Trade tax
The Renewable Energy Act stipulates that at least 90 percent of trade tax revenue flows back to the location of the plant. Depending on the financing structure of the solar park, trade tax revenue increases over the life of the system.
Rental income
Municipal roads or land are often included in the planning of the solar park. This results in secure and lucrative rental income for the communities as well as private property owners over the entire term of the system.
Local value creation
Whether it's guesthouses and restaurants during the construction phase, landowners who lease their land, farmers who take care of land maintenance, or beekeepers and shepherds who can use the solar park as pasture - a solar park offers numerous opportunities for the residents of a community. In addition, for every solar park we offer all residents at the location of the solar park the opportunity to participate financially in the park.
Independence/Decentralization
By approving a solar park, municipalities promote the energy independence of third countries. We have all experienced what energy dependence means in our own wallets in the recent past - it is our responsibility to change this!
More decentralized energy generation also relieves pressure on the power grid, increases energy efficiency and reduces the risk of failure.

We are also happy to respond to the wishes of the community and citizens in connection with the solar park and look forward to implementing their exciting ideas together!
